Brandi Carlile

Brandi Carlile began her career performing in Seattle music clubs and attending concerts by Dave Matthews and Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder. Signed by Columbia Records and recorded her first release in 2005, she was featured on Rolling Stone’s list of 10 Artists to Watch, praised by Interview and Paste Magazine, and in 2006, toured as an opening act for artists such as Ray LaMontagne, Jonny Land, Hanson, Indigo Girls, The Fray, Tori Amos, and Shawn Colvin. After two year of touring she recorded her album The Story produced by T Bone Burnett. As Brandi Carlile’s fans well know, her concerts are near legendary in their perfect communion between performer and audience. Whether she is rocking out with her full band or standing quietly, tantalizingly close to the edge of the stage singing a cappella, Carlile brings a riveting intensity to her shows.
